The Brooklyn Council is pleased to announce our participation in the Brooklyn Memorial Day Parade. As always, we will provide Camp discounts as an incentive to get out there and rep Brooklyn Scouting! This years discounts are as follows for each Scout that marches:
- Boy Scouts at Ten Mile River: $20 off per week with Troop.
- Cub Scouts at Cub World: $10 off per session, $20 off per full week.
For Memorial Day Parade Applications, please consult your Cub or Scoutmaster. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Justin Rodstrom at jrodstro@bsamail.org. We look forward to Brooklyn coming out strong, and taking advantage of this chance to make a couple bucks for Summer Camp. Thanks!

EAGLE SCOUT COURT OF HONOR
There will be an Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Friday, April 16th, 2010 for Scouts Brian Nersten and Thomas Kramer Jr.. It will be held in the Our Lady of Angels Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. Refreshments will follow in the school cafeteria.

Brooklyn Cyclones Family Night
Brooklyn Council is pleased to announce the 2010 Annual Bob Weingand Memorial Family Scout Night on July 10th, 2010 with the Brooklyn Cyclones at Keyspan Park!
This year’s Family Scout Night will commence with a pre-game Boy Scout Parade, a post-game Fireworks Celebration, and a sleepover on Keyspan Field! Prices for the event are $8 Bleachers, $13 Box, and $15 Field Box.

I would like to invite you and your Scouting family to join us on the afternoon of Saturday, July 31, in TIMES SQUARE, New York as the entire NYC Scouting family – past, present and future – celebrates 100 years of Scouting. You will be able to take part in a special New York City-style show and the nationwide broadcast of “A Shining Light Across America” from the National Scout Jamboree.
We invite you to visit New York City and its numerous attractions the weekend of July 30th – August 1st and enjoy special access and discounts for the whole Scouting Family at Museums, Ballparks, Restaurants, City Parks and more. Bring your family, friends, or your whole unit.
Want to stay the whole weekend? The Greater New York Councils’ Alpine and Pouch Scout Camps will be open for you and your unit. Hotel options will also be available for your convenience.
